Description
From Boru’s latest state-of-the-art Irish wedding ring range comes a very contemporary combination of the Claddagh and the Celtic Knot .
This pattern is deeply etched and oxidised around the Irish Claddagh band and the ring is a unisex ‘comfort fit’ band meaning the inside of the band is domed for a more comfortable wear.
Legend has it that the Claddagh symbol was originated by Richard Joyce, a Galway seafarer kidnapped by pirates and sold into slavery in North Africa where he learned the art of a goldsmith. When he was released, nothing could keep him from his beloved Galway where he returned to become a master goldsmith and where he created the Claddagh ring.
Available in two band widths.
Width: 5 – 5.2mm / Thickness: 1.8mm approx.
